fiesta night

This fundraiser for Riverside Refugee Resettlement usually takes place in January. Come enjoy fellowship, a taco bar, and pinata for the kids!

spaghetti dinner

This event is a fundraiser for our annual youth mission trip to Appalachia. Scheduled in the spring, attendees are treated to delicious food and an enthusiastic and youthful waiting staff!

4th of july brat stand

A tradition for many years at Ascension, folks from our congregation operate a brat stand as part of the annual Riverside 4th of July festivities. Proceeds from this event go directly to a local non-profit organization.

oktoberfest

This annual Ascension tradition takes place in early October. Come enjoy fellowship, roast pork, and of course--some good German-style beer! Proceeds from this event go directly to a local non-profit organization that fights hunger and food insecurity.

christmas dinner

Each Christmas Day, following worship, we host a free community dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and a good hearty holiday meal.
